** This trip was not for the faint-hearted. Just about EVERY coupon beeped and needed to be manually entered, due to the overages. Luckily, I had a wonderful young girl that was very patient and willing to work with me. Again, it doesn't hurt to pray for favor before you go shopping. : )

  1. That is incredible....free stuff takes time and lots of patience at the beeping counter. Many times I've thanked the girls at Kroger for taking time with my coupons since I am in there sooooo long working on getting the right stuff. There's really no way to go back later and say, you missed my peanut butter coupon or whatever, because their not listed specifically...bla bla I know. Thanks Jen for all the info...mr

  2. Yeah, you're right about that! I must have thanked Miss Patience about a million times. I think nowadays people have more tolerance for coupons because of tough times. I'm always grateful when I come across a helpful soul like that. Honestly, though, I think next time I might space out my "overage" coupons rather than use them all in one trip. Ouch, my beeping pride ; )
